Voltaire Ethernet Campaign

Voltaire was introducing a new product that would revolutionize the ethernet market by offering faster speeds, lower latency and less power, all at a significantly lower cost. However, as a relatively unknown player in the space, they had to catch the attention of their audience. Knowing how developers are drawn to problem solving, we decided to present them with a perplexing equation via email. Once they clicked through to the landing page, they would learn the meaning of the riddle. Better still, Voltaire was able to gain valuable customer insight by tracking landing page clicks and learning which message—speed, low latency, less power or lower price—resonated the most with their audience. (It was speed!)
