When you work with Metal Creative, you get all the benefits of a small agency, with the personnel resources of a large one. Having worked together for more than twenty years (and in many cases quite a bit longer than that) our extensive team of freelance talent is ready to tackle almost any project on a moment’s notice. At the same time, you will always get the benefit of consistent communication with our seasoned leadership team—regardless of the size or scope of your project.
A liberal arts graduate of Colby College, Marilé has anything but the traditional Creative Director’s background—and this tends to come in handy when trying to solve clients’ business challenges. Since 1993, she’s helped companies large and small, local and global, generate leads, increase sales and build brand equity. She spent eight years in the agency circuit, including a 4-year stint with world-renowned Leo Burnett, before she founded Metal Creative in 2001. While Marilé will tell you that Gold Awards for print design are certainly nice to have, the creative accomplishments she is most proud of are the ones that outperform benchmarks by double or triple numbers.
When she’s not chasing down deadlines, Marilé can be found at home in Northborough, MA, chasing her two teenage kids or planning their next adventure.
Marty started her career at various Chicago- and Boston-based advertising agencies, including the Leo Burnett Technology Group. However, she is more fulfilled serving a variety of clients as an independent marketing consultant, which she has done since 2003. Marty has more than 25 years of experience working with B2B and B2C companies, executing a range of marketing communications programs including Branding, Marketing Strategy Development, Marketing Communications Planning, Marketplace and Competitive Analyses and Social Media Marketing. With all this experience, Marty certainly knows how to keep creatives in check and clients happy—though sometimes she’ll tell you that can be harder than making the five teenagers in her blended family tow the line.
A senior and seasoned copywriter, Holly has worked at both advertising agencies and in-house marketing groups for more than two decades. Her client experience covers a wide range of industry sectors, including higher education, B2B technology, baby gear, running shoes and healthcare. Throughout her career, companies have hired Holly to “speak” the language of their target audience and to communicate to them in ways that reflect a genuine understanding of their needs and aspirations. She is fluent in the language of athletes, tired Moms, weekend warriors, software engineers, jittery hospital patients, the C-Suite, Millennials, HR Managers, blue collar workers, scientists, retirees, vodka connoisseurs, and discriminating tourists, just to name a few.
Holly holds a Master’s in Film Production from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in English and American Literature from Harvard College. When she’s not running from client to client, Holly can be found tackling marathons near and far, or sprinting after Penzy, her Jack Russell-Greyhound rescue dog.
